In our gospel reading this morning Jesus is approached by a lawyer who, we are told, wants to test Jesus. The lawyer in this case would be an expert at knowing and interpreting the Law of Moses. Luke uses this interaction as an introduction to the familiar story of the Good Samaritan. A parable we hear only in Luke’s gospel. Listen now to Luke, chapter 10, verses 25 through 37.
