For our gospel reading this morning we continue reading from Luke chapter 12. Much of this chapter has dealt with the coming of the Kingdom of God. We heard about the rich farmer who was not prepared, and we heard about blessings for those who are prepared for the master’s return. The context of all of this is Jesus on his way to Jerusalem. Since the middle of chapter 9, when Jesus told them about his death, his face was set toward Jerusalem. With that in mind, hear the words of Jesus from Luke, chapter 12, verses 49 through 56.
